change cisco ATA 186 to sccp

Hello guys i bought a cisco ATA 186 for my home lab and i have tried to register it to callmanager 7x without success. I have added it as an ata186, and also tried to do it by turning on auto registration and adding the callmanager ip address to as the ATA’s tftp ip address but i am not seeing it as registered. But I thought i may be having problems due to the fact that ATA has sip protocol running on it. So now i want to change it to sccp but i have not understood the guides i’ve found very clearly.

Guys does anyone have any advice?
