Hi, this is probabley the most basic of questions however, I haven't had to do this yet. I just RMA'd a 7940 phone and when I swap it out for the bad phone what settings in Call manager do I need to change? Is it as easy as just changing the mac address? I have Call Manager set up to not auto register, and all of the user and DN settings shouldnt change. I'm using CUCMBE 6.1.3

Hi dan,
Verify phone model, check that ip phone is able to get ip address, mask, router and option 150 (tftp) and yes you need to configure it in cucm
if same model just change mac address.

Yeah its the same model and all info should stay the same its an RMA. I thought that it would just be a mac address change just wanted to confirm.
