Hey everyone,
We are rolling out over 500 Cisco 7945 IP phones in the company. We would like that when any new 7945 phone auto-registers for the first time, they will get our custom image instead of the default. Does anyone know if this is even possible?
Thanks,
Neocec

The phone will always default to the built in background (horizontal lines). The only way I can think of mass setting the background to one of your customer images after it's setup properly would be to push some HTTP messages to the phone to press the settings button, then user preferences, then background images, etc. Here's where you could start: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuipph/all_models/xsi/6_0/english/programming/guide/xsi60obj.html#wp1033858.

Looks like someone did just that with the HTTP posts to the phone: https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/290196?tstart=0&viewcondensed

Thanks for letting me know! . I appreciate your help! I know Cisco has no way to do it, but there is a cool 3rd party program here (gotta pay for it):
