Guys,
Currently struggling to get the background of both the 7970 and IPC version 2.1 configured to a new back ground image.
<CiscoIPPhoneImageList>
<ImageItem Image="TFTP:Desktops/320x212x12/tn-xxxx.png"
URL="TFTP:Desktops/320x212x12/xxxx.png"/>
</CiscoIPPhoneImageList>
xxxx.png /Desktops/320x212x12
xxxx.png /
tn-xxxx.png /Desktops/320x212x12
tn-xxxx.png /
The first is the list.xml file I uploaded to Desktops/320x212x12
and also the root for good measure
The second shows the reflection of this in file management.
The problem - When I select the back ground I see the choice but it is only displaying a small white piece of paper with a red cross and the letters PNG.
Has anyone encountered this and have we any ideas how to resolve?
Thanks.

Look the procedure that I did was
copy you list.xml in /ccmcip, also you imeges png, then in the CCM - System - Enterprise Parameters - seek to Phone URL Parameters in URL Idle write - http://(address TFTP server):8080/ccmcip/List(or name of file).xml- save changes and the all phones gonna reset
After this, change the image background in any IP Phone ;)

all the files need to be under the Desktops/320x212x12 folder.
List.xml needs to be on the root.
Please note this config is case sensitive so make sure all is as explained in the document, files and extensions need to be the same for real files and for config files
I'd recommend you to double check the config,
Creating Custom Background Images
after that try restarting the TFTP service.
You're doing this on the TFTP were the phones are looking at right?
