Hi, Has anyone changed the DNS suffix on Cisco Unity 5.0(1) after install and does this have any impact on the Call Managers etc.
There are no users currently on the system.
Thanks
Bryan

Before you proceed, I would get a more definitive answer, but this is my 2 sense.
I would not think it matters because it is communicating with Unity via the voicemail ports, not dns (at least it is in 4.2).
If you look at your call manager config, specifically, voicemail and voicemail ports, is the dns name for unity there?
If you look at this from Unity's perspective, if you go to "Manage Integrations" is the dns suffix referenced (specifically)?
Again, before you proceed, please gain more knowledge / a more definitive answer.

This will not effect the callmanagers for sure.
what is your plan to change the dns on the Unity server and why.
I am sure I can give you and idea.
