Changing the Windows Domain, Impact on Call Manager & Presence

 

Dear,

 

We have a customer that will change domain name in a windows domain. It will be totally new forest.

They are running a Cisco Call Manager & Cisco Unity & Cisco IM& Presence, i've read that there are some steps to complete on the cisco presence for this.

This would be a firsttimer for me to do, so could someone advise how to properly start with these kind of changes? Where do i start first? Cisco Call Manager , Presence,... What should i look for and look out for.

 

I have no idea how to begin on this and also asked to send a time frame of my works.

Which versions of everything

Which versions of everything are you using?  Are you doing LDAP Directory sync and LDAP Authentication?

Presence: 8.6.2

Cisco Unity: 8.6.2

 

We are using LDAP sync for the users to sync over. How can i check if we are using LDAP Authentication aswell?

The settings are identical in Unity Connection.
