Dear forum users.
I have installed Cisco IP Communicator version 8.6.1.0 - CDP Driver Version 1.0(0.2) and Voice Engine Version 3.5.0.0.
My laptop is running Window 7 64-bit Service Pack 1.
I have installed CIPC as an administrator and also run it as an administrator but the network options are still greyed out. I have searched the forum and this seems to be fixing the isuse for most other people except myself. If anyone can shed any light on this I would be very grateful. I have attached the CIPC problem report if that offers anyone any assistance.
Thanks in advance, Tim.

did you check following note in the CIPC 8.6 release note guide ?
Note Cisco IP Communicator is supported only on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 as shown in Table 1
. Cisco IP Communicator supports x86-based processors running a 32-bit OS; 64-bit OSs are only supported on Windows 7 (64-bit WOW). This integration runs as a 32-bit appllication in 64-bit versions of Windows 7. All other supported operating systems are 32-bit only.
Win 7 64 bit is not yet fully supported for CIPC.
