<br />I just get a brand new cisco 2801 and a VIC2-2FXS that I install in the slot 0 (VIC only).
<br />I can see my card in the sh diag and sh ver but the voice ports never appear on the sh run. I can't type voice-port either...

You will need PVDM2 in all ISR routers to turn up the voice ports. If no dsp's exist then you will not have that ability to configure them.
You have no PVDM2-xx modules in the box. These are the DSP and no use of voice ports can be done without.
Would I get the same problem using a cisco 2811 ?
