Cisco 2911 CME issue

Hi,

I have installed and configured the Cisco CISCO2911/K9 (revision 1.0) with the image c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.151-4.M1.bin. Link is E1. (30 channels are used.

There is no issues when the call is placed with the LAN,means IP phone to IP phone (dialing extension number),but where as ,while calling the outside number, the call gets abruptly disconnected during the conversation,the problem is intermittent not always,and also not with particular IP phone.

Where could be the issue.?

Please help me to resolve the issue.

Cisco 2911 CME issue

You may have trouble with the E1, open a terminal with "term mon" and check "show controllers e1" when calls drops.

You can also take "debug isdn q931" for the same purpose.

you should also set clocking on your E1, if not yet done so.

You'll probably see CRC errors on the controller/Serial IF, when no clock is set.

Apply the "network-clock-select wic X" command. If you have multiple E1's you should also use "network-clock-participate ..." command to use clocking from a specific E1.
