I have a customer running CUCM 8.0 with 2 x 2911 routers on 15.0(1)M4 IOS. with 2 pcs PVDM3-32 and 1 VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1.
On one of the ports they are running QSIG PRI againt a Ericsson MD110 and the other port is connected directly to a PRI 30 channel from a operator i Norway.
We are now getting drops on both these interfaces at the same time 2-5 times a day. When I look at the routers I see this error message:
%DSPRM-3-DSPALARM: Received alarm indication from dsp (0/1). Resetting the DSP.
According to Cisco this is a known problem on these routers with this IOS and their recommandations is to raise the
ecan-cancel coverage to 128. When I go to do this via the CCMadmin web on the endpoints I am not allowed to raise it to more then 64ms........When I force it to 128 directly on the router it doesn't show when I run Show running config but in the Show voice port 0/0/0:15 it says it is set to 128.
What is the correct thing here? Do I really need the EC-MFT-64 to get this thing to work or is it a fault that can be fixed with a IOS upgrade on the routers?
Hope there is someone out there that can help me in this case.
The short answer is that you don't.... That isn't entirely true while at
the same time it kind of is, but for the most part you don't configure
the softkeys. You enable or disable them via TCL. Here is the long
answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
