Hi,
I know ive missed something simple here...
We are going to deploy a bunch of 3905 IP phones so i bought one in just to check if they are up to the task. Ive uploaded the firmware to TFTP and restarted the service but i still cannot see the 3905 as an avaliable device. Ive done device firmware upgrades before but only on devices that existed already.
My CUCM is
8.5.1.11900-21
What have i missed?
Best wishes
Jon

because what i know, you need a cop file. then your cucm should support the device (devicelist). firmware is an other story.

....spoke too soon. If anyone else has this and then the phones still do not register you need to reboot the cluster

Hi,
Yes i restated TFTP after the installs.
The phone has this message in the status
File Not Found : English_United_Kingdom/cin-sip.jar
There are two different instances of this on the forums both of which were only resolved after a reboot.
