CISCO 7911 IP Phone_Registration problem with GNS3_CISCO 7200 Router

Hello . . .

i am trying to build a voice lab over GNS3.
my target is to setup call between CISCO IP communicator & CISCO 7911 IP phone.
but i am facing a problem regarding the registration of CISCO 7911 IP phone.
all the things i have done in my voice lab is presented below:

1. i am using CISCO 7200 router IOS for telephony service setup.
2. the CISCO IP communicator softphone is successfully registered with the 7200 router.
3. also the IP communicator gets an extension number which i have configured during the telephony setup.
4. but the problem i am facing for CISCO 7911 IP phone.
5. at the 7911 phone i have set IP 192.168.10.3/27. i have assign IP 192.168.10.1/27 at the LAN card in which the 7911 phone is directly connected.
also at the 7911 phone i have set default router address 192.168.10.1/27.
6. the 7200 router's TFTP server IP is 192.168.10.2/27
7. i can ping the 7911 phone from my pc also from the GNS3 7200 router
8. i can access the web console of 7911 ip phone over http

but the 7911 phone is not getting register with the 7200 router. the 7911 phone not getting an extension.

Hi

- Have you assigned option 150 to the phone via DHCP, or programmed the TFTP server IP manually on the handset?

- Post your configuration...

I have assigned the TFTP server manually on the phone.

Still my 7911 phone is not getting register with the GNS3 7200 router.

Sakib,

I would check the error message on Cisco Ip Phone first under Status menu item.

google the error message, u should be fine.

Might be something to do with configuration file for that specific phone model on the right location of TFTP server on your 7200.

Actually when i connect the phone then it did not shows any error.

but the screen shows "unprovisioned". I dont know whats that.

Can you give me a suggestion?

Another thing, is the router configuration not same for register IP Communicator & 7911 IP phone?

I havent enabled IP Telephony services on 7200 before.

There is no change in basic router config no matter which model phone u use but what I mean is u need to have specific files on your TFTP server for each model of IP phone it needs to serve.

Have configured 7200 for CME aswell?  (worth trying for your VOIP Lab)
