Cisco 7912G and 7940

Hi Cisco techs,

Just a simple question

I reckon I will be doing a course to learn more for this

Which phone is easier to configure in CME.

7940 or 7912.

Both of them are pretty old and both are simple to configure under CME (just ephone + ephone-dn).

thanks for the quick reply Dragan.

Thats what I initially thought. But my experience so far has been challenging to say the least

Both ephone and dn have been created. Phone loads added for 7912 model. Phones MAC shows in CME. but phone not fully registering. Has its own IP address and can ping phone ok.

Offcourse I supposed that you have functional DHCP for phones with option 150 in it so that phones knows where to register automatically.

create-cnf files command gets errors.
