I have setup my sip trunk and now would like to setup my Cisco 7940 ip phone using SIP and trixbox. I have reset the phone according to the instuctions from Cisco and it goes through the boot process and gets and IP address. On the screen it says ,"Protocol Application Invalid" I assume because it using the SCCP protocol and is using Cisco Call Manager for its configs. I have tried to unlock the phone using **# and I cannot get past this screen and I cannot get to the phone via the web browser as well. Can anyone point me in the right direction. thanks Also if anyone can give me the SIP firmware instrucions for this phone.
