Cisco 7941 Series IP Phones

The company I work for uses Cisco IP Phone 7941 Series. When I call potental clients the phone rings but the call time counter on the screen doesnt start until someone picks up or an answering machine answers. Is this counter the call time counter? If I was to call someone and hang up right when the answering machine answered and the call time counter read zero would that call then read 0:00 in the system?

Re: Cisco 7941 Series IP Phones

that timer indeed is the connected timer, ringing is not connected so it's expected to not see it. calls that do not connect do show up as zero duration if you enabled the flag on CDR

i'm really not sure about whether it should show up as 0:00 or if you would get at least 1 second, maybe they count the same as call with zero duration
