Cisco 7970G touch screen issue

When someone utilizes the touch screen functionality of the 7970G phone it usually works. However, when you browse to a user's name via a directory and touch the name to dial that person the phone freezes up and will not work again until it is re-booted. I am able to successfully dial the same person when using the navigation buttons on the phone, there is only a problem when I try to use the touch screen to dial. Any ideas on why the phone is freezing up? Thank you.

Using custom directory?

Can we reproduce this, so we can gather phone logs?

All phones?

I would go to last firmware first

I was not able to dial the person by touching the name in my 7975, i was not aware of that functionality, it only allows me to select it

Can u get the logs from IP Phone web page and upload them

Also let me know the exact firmware so I can try to reproduce

After some more digging I found out that I needed to upgrade my firmware. Thank you for the help.
