Cisco 7975 phone going on hold.

I have a Cisco 7975 phone using firmware version SCCP75.8-5-2SR1S. Cisco Call Manager version 6.1.2.1000-13.

When the users places an internal or external phone call and the called party answers the phone, the call gets placed on hold and the user has to take the call off hold. Any ideas what can be causing this. A reset of the phone had no affect.

Id rollback the firmware if it was just upgraded.  I have had issues with the 7970 phones and the newest firmware. (keep alives failing).   I had to go back 2 or 3 versions to make the phone work again.
