Cisco 8941 custom wall paper

I am having a little trouble with custom wallpaper for a customer.  They have a mix of 8941 and 8961 phones.  I've edited the list.xml file, uploaded the appropriate images (640x480) and the custom wallpaper works perfectly on the 8961 phones.  Now there is no wallpaper available for the 8941 phones (there was before).

Anyone have any tips for troubleshooting this?

Restart the TFTP service and make sure you're pointing to the TFTP where the background images are uploaded.

The TFTP service was restarted.  The 8941 phones have identical image requirements as the 8961 phones.  The wallpaper works for the 8961 phones but does not for the 8941 phones.

Check the console logs and see what's going on when it downloads the List.xml.  Packet capture may be helpful as well.

What firmware revision are the phones? I have this vague memory of the 8941 phones needing a certain revision to support custom backgrounds.

You are right the phone has to be at a certain firmware level - and these are.  That was one of my first ideas.

The issue came down to the 8941 needed a firmware update.

I have upgraded the firmware for both sccp and sip and tried both, no work for wallpaper. Current fimrware I am using is below. What firmware version worked for you?

SCCP8941_8945.9-3-4-17

SIP8941_8945.9-3-4-17

It is SCCP8941_8945.9-3-4-17.  Same version.  Sorry yours is not working; TAC is the next stop.

I have the same exact issue. The only difference is the 8961 phones are SIP and the 8941 phones are sccp. Could that be the issue?

I am having a difficult time getting wallpaper to show up on the 8941 phones. I have a 8961 with the exact same setup in terms of tftp server. The 8961 shows all the wallpaper just fine but the 8941 does not. According to Cisco documentation, they both use the 640x480x24 and 123x111 size png files. Can anyone tell me why the 8941 will not show the wallpaper?
