Cisco 9971 call transfer to speeddail not working

Cisco 9971 phone buttons setup as Speed Dial BLFs,  User gets the call, hits  transfer, hits the speed dial,call is not getting transfered. Instead, it is esablishing another call and there is no way to trasfer the call, also does not appear  the transfer softkey, a new call has been  created.
Dialing the destination manually works fine.

9971 is runing firmware sip9971-9.3.2-10

and CUCM version is  : 9.1.1-10000-11

Pls. suggest

Is the same setup is working in different model of cisco phone?

is the transfer softkey is configured in "connected" state of softkey template

Transfer works perfectly in other phone model.

I hope you are aware of 9971 phones. There is not softkey template to apply...!!!!

Cisco 9971 is not anymore luxury feature phones.....It is pain.....! End users are vicitim of Cisco's messup....!

Dear All

This was bug issue, upgraded 9971 firmware to 9.4.1, it started working.

Hmmm, as per my experience Cisco 9971 IP phone is full of bug issue since it is released.

Even after couple of years also, bug issues on basic call transfer features.....!!!!

Yes, it dosen't has Softkey template, but you can change softkeys using Feature Controll Policies
