I'm currently trying to get the Cisco Agent Desktop Browser Edition to run uder linux with no success. The popup where we would normally expect the agent login to appear displays the message "Cisco Agent Desktop - Browser Edition cannot run. Possible reasons include the following..." and goes on to suggest that the browser or JRE is not compatible.
The browser is Firefox 17.08 with the JRE version 1.6_31 verified working. The OS is CentOS 6.4. I've tried altering the redhat-release file and the browser user agent string to various different values but nothing seems to work.
Does anybody have any idea what CAD-BE is looking for? The equivalent browser and JRE versions work fine under Windows 7.
