Hello everyone,
please try to bear with me this will be a little long. I was given a compaq proliant dl380 server running winows 2k with cisco call manager on it and 2 of the 7910 phones to use for training purposes, i have not hooked anything up yet or even powered on the server yet. I have never used this before and i have a few questions about it. I have currently running a hp proliant ml115 server with 2k3 running my dns and dhcp. It is just a member-server with no domain or active directory. Also i have running a cisco 3640 router and a 2914 enterprise switch and 4 1231 access points but only one of those are running. I was instructed to do a vlan on my switch for the voip server and phones which i will do to start out with. My questions:
I want to know if this version of call manager will run on 2k3 so i can update the compaq server.
Mosly just looking to see what books or links can be suggested for information

only cucm version that runs over W2K3 is CUCM 4.3(x), no previous or later version runs on that platform, and it needs to be on a Cisco IP Telephony Operating System, not regular W2K3

This sounds like an excellent opportunity :)
This version of CCM (Callmanager) will not run on Windows Server 2003. The only supported version for 2k3 is CCM 4.3(1)
