Cisco CUBE-Firewall ports to Open

Hi,

I want to open firwall ports for traffic between our Cisco CUBE and 1.clients Cisco CallManager Cluster and 2.service provider SBC. What are the ports I need to open on firewall?

-Is it sufficient if I open ports TCP/UDP 5060/5061(SIP) and UDP range 16384-32767(RTP) between our CUBE and client CUCM cluster/Service provider SBC ?

- Should I open any ports for IP phone subnets on firewall(ours or say clients)

Thanks

KMS

If the CUBE is only used for SIP then you have the proper ports, you may also allow standard things like NTP, SSH, etc.

Don't forget about ICMP to get things like destination unreachable, ttl exceeded, etc. They will help diagnose issues if the FW doesn't block them.
