Does anybody know how to deal with problem with Cisco IOS SIP-UA (client side) listed below?
Problem is as follows: outgoing SIP requests (either UDP or TCP) are sent from high-level port numbers (16384-65536) and not from #5060. This issue exist regardless of the fact that all SIP headers/fields in outgoing messages are correct i.e. port numbers by default equal 5060. "sh udp" shows that router listens both ports: 5060 and dynamically selected high-level port.
This problem was observed by me in IOS release numbers from 12.4(11)T to 12.4(24)T, in feature sets from SP Serv. to Adv. Ent. Serv (IVS) and on ISR platforms from 2801 to 2851.
