we are presenting problems with the Cisco IP Phone 7940 phone and reaching series called interrupted or noise, we have the modalities SIP has been revised network link, telephone and electricity supplier, did not find fault, the problem only occurs only for the person receiving the call (agent) from the other side (client) does not present difficulties, a suggestion, firmware, configuration, etc?

Likely you have a packet loss somewhere, confirm rtp statistics pressing the ? key twice during a call, then investigate your infrastructure and internet link performances.
