Cisco IP Phone 7942 SIP Date and Time with errors in Display

Hi, i got an 7942 ip phone with SIP firmware, but in display i can see the time and date wrong, i change the NTP server and the Time Zone in the SEP(macadress).cnf.xml but the time got more than 30 minutes, and the date showed is 11/05/11.

How can i fix this?

Am I doing something wrong?

What system is the phone connected to? Sounds like you do not have CUCM or CME, so perhaps the time comes from the SIP provider?

i got SIP42.9-2-1S.loads, but i cant connect with SIP server too, I guess I can not sign on to the server because on the phone i have different date and time, but is my first test on it.

Cisco SIP phones either need an NTP server or need the time returned in a custom header during registration. See this page for additional pointers if you're using a non-Cisco call agent:
