Cisco IP phone agent logout error

Hi all. I am using Cisco CUCM v8.5 & UCCX v8.5. We have 10 ip phone agents on UCCX and they are all working properly. So recently we added 3 new agents. But they can't logout from their phone (extension mobility) even they can login to the IP phone and Cisco Agent Desktop also. After they logged in to IP phone, when they press service button in order to logout, following error has occured "Host not found". Could you guys please help on this issue. I have also checked URL services, but they all in IP address format (http://192.168.10.10:8080/ccmcip/getservicesmenu.jsp etc..). Does anyone has an idea on this? Pls help

Thanks,

Ayush

Is the UDP profile associated with the service?

Is the Extension Mobility service on 192.168.10.10 running and or is the server even reachable?

Cisco IP phone agent logout error

Hi,

Please have a look into troubleshooting DOC

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_tech_note09186a0080af410f.shtml

Error: Host Not Found

With CUCM 8.x, when trying to access the EM service, the host not found error message is received.

Solution

In order to resolve this issue, complete these steps:

  1. In CUCM Administration, choose Device > Device Settings > Phone Services.
  2. In the Secure-Service URL, change the port to 8443, and reset the phone for the changes to take effect.

Note: This issue can also occur because the Phone button service URLs (SURL) do not work when pressed for certain URLs. The workaround is to access the service from the services button on the phone. For a possible fix, refer Cisco Bug IDCSCtq18230 (registered customers only) .

regds,

aman
