Locally significant certificate (LSC)—This certificate type installs on supported phones after you perform the necessary tasks that are associated with the Cisco Certificate Authority Proxy Function (CAPF). The LSC secures the connection between Cisco Unified Communications Manager and the phone after you configure the device security mode for authentication or encryption.
