Cisco ip phone "how to change language"

    Hi .              

Ineed to install Arabic Language in the phones.Any help will be higly appreciated.

Callmanager version that you are currently running if you can let us know that would be helpful to point you in the correct direction.

BTW for languages you need to isntall locales

For Arabic language you need to use custom locals. Its not predefined system local by Cisco. I wrote a blog on how to change language but didn't include Arabic lanugage. I am sharing the link incase it can help.

Keep in mind that with Unity Connection you need to put exact compatible version of locale, where is CUCM the locale is compatible with multiple CUCM versions, for UCON they usualy work only one one specific version and each ES/SU/etc requires different locale files, and some versions may not have any locales available.

So, make sure you read the ReadMe files before you apply them.

NoteAll  locales other than ENU are released for Connection 8.6(2) Engineering  Special 12. Connection 8.6(2) ES 12 locales are supported only with  Connection 8.6(2) ES 12.

All  locales other than ENU are released for Connection 8.6(2) SU 1 (ES 25).  For more information on the supported engineering-special versions with  these locales, please contact Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC).

Note Connection  8.6 versions of languages other than ENU are released. The Connection  server must be running a minimum of 8.6(1)ES2 to use these languages.
