I would like to roll this out to some users, by way of the "Distributing the Server Address Using a Self-Extracting Installer File" method. I've zipped up the executable and the registry key that you have to create. The next step is to create the self-extracting executable file, which I also seem to be able to do. But when I double click on the resulting .exe file, all that happens is that the default zip software unpacks the two files. I was expecting it to run the exe and the reg file too. Am I getting this wrong? Must users still run the exe themselves and then run the reg key file manually afterwards?
