We have deployed several SIP phones which connect back to an Asterisk call control server.
Unfortunately, the switch we are using cannot detect the phones via CDP, and therefore does not automatically put them in the tagged voice vlan. The only way I have found to get them in the voice VLAN is by manually changing their configuration on the phone.
My questions:
Is it possible to have DHCP do this? I know that with some phones there is a DHCP option to "force VLAN X".
Is it possible to designate a VLAN through the Asterisk phone config file? Each phone has its own configuration file, but I didn't see a field for VLAN. (That may be a question for the Asterisk forums, but I thought I would ask).
Any help would be appreciated.

AFAIK, Cisco IP phones use CDP to learn the VLAN ID
so DHCP option 132 (vlan-id) or SIP cnf file may not work
here. (It didn't for the quick test I ran on my lab box)
That leaves configuring it manually on phone...hmm..
