cisco remote destinations to MS lync extensions with sip trunk
we have configured a sip trunk between cisco call manager 8.0 and lync server 2010. lync extensions are configured as remote destination for each users.
the problem is that when a call comes to cisco it rings lync and if the user picks up the call from cisco ip phone the sip trunk send a cancel message to lync client and lync client thinks that the call has been dropped rather than normal clear and it generates a missed call alert for a call that has been answered properly.
we want to avoid these fake missed call alerts, is there a way to configure in sip settings to send a normal Bye message rather than a cancel message for such case.
