My company that i work for has a finance app that has a CRM component installed that has the ability to dial using the TSP/TAPI connection and receive calls to the deskphones as well. We use a third party Call Control Software in Outlook 2007 (IPFX) to control our deskphones, it works very well. When we run the web app on the IPFX server it works fine as the Cisco TSP component is setup properly and interfacing with the call manager servers properly.
We don't need a full copy of the TSP but only a read only type client to install on the users computers so that it can then read the extension off of the server and provide some call control?
