Cisco Unified CallManager 4.2(3) license

Is it possible to see the license of a CCM4?

For example in the CCM5, 6 or 7 there is a page where we can see the License unit Report.

Is there any equivalent of this in the CCM4.

Best regards,

Antra

CCM4 is "honor system", which means, Cisco does not enforce licensing on it.

Licensing enforcement was introduced since CCM 5.

hi ,

Please Be that it means that we can register the number of telephone IP and softphone we want?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I come back to this thread because now we need to upgrade to Version 8.

I don't want to pay twice. Because i've already purchased the applicance (7835-H2).

And know i want to upgrade to version 8.

We jus want a rehoming :

The planning will make a fresh install on new CCM8 servers and new Unity8 servers.

After installation ,we plan to migrate all phones to the new CCM an Unity and abandon the CCM4 (rehoming).

What can we do to get the CCM4.2 and Unity 4.2 license and migrate it to the CUCM8 and Unity 8

Cisco sales ask us the license that we have so they can give us their proposal.
But we use CCM4.2 and cannot know it till now.
As I know MCS-7835-H2 support 2500 phones(users). And we don't know if our license is for 1000 or 2500 users or even 500 users.
Can you help us to find the license of our Call Manager?

Best regards,

Antra
