Cisco Unified Communication Manager - 7.1.2, HD Rebuilding issue..
Can someone please assist me in following issue:
We had an issue with CUCM PUB as we lost web interface access to it, we managed to login via CLI and SHOW HARDWARE was showing physical drive 1:1 to be " Predictive failure" and physical drive 1:2 to be " Failed".
We replaced the failed HD but after that, we lost the complete connectivity( Web and CLI) to CUCM and hence we ran the recovery disc on to the CUCM which allowed us to login to the CUCM .
Now, SHOW HARDWARE was showing physical drive 1:1 to be " Predictive failure " and physical drive 1:2 to be " Rebuilding" . and logical drive was showing 36.5% complete...but it got stuck on the same status for more than 1 full day and now today morning, I saw the status to be :
Physical drive 1:1 - "Predictive Failure"
Physical Drive 1:2 - " Predictive Failure"
Logical drive : 1, Status : Interim Recovery mode.
Can someone please suggest what could be the cause of the issue and what requires to be done now. Do we need to replace both the HD's ...and if yes, is there any way we can save the data.
Also, RAID configuration is showing 1+0 , though we just have 2 physical HD's. would thatt be the cause of the problem in Rebuilding new HD.
NOTE : we managed to take the full back-up but still need to know any altenatives to resolve this issue.
