Cisco Unified Mobility Advantage

I just installed CUMA and getting ready to provision my first phone. Just curious why when I select "Add Phone" I only have two options for phone type and 3 options for providers?

Phone make and Model: Pearl and 8700g

Service Provider: t-mobile, verizon, cinular

Is this normal? What do I do if I have a 8300 on Alltel's network?

Hello,

You will need to install an updated Unified Mobile Communicator Bundle which should have phones/providers that were updated since this release of CUMA.

This can be accomplished by downloading the bundle from cisco.com and selecting "handheld platform management" and upload new version inside CUMA management.

More information available on page 40 of the administration guide.

Hope this helps

Thanks. That was the problem. They sent me version 3.0.1. I upgraded to 3.1.8.
