I bulk imported phones separately from users into Callmanager 5. It seems in the user import that I can't associate a user to a phone. Any way around this aside from re-importing a phone+user db?

You can update users to associate phones by BAT text file like this:
USER ID,USER GROUP 1,CONTROLLED DEVICE 1
user1,Standard CCM End Users,SEPA00000000050
user2,Standard CCM End Users,SEPB00000000051
user3,Standard CCM End Users,SEPB00000000052
I've used it with CCM 5.1.2 and 5.1.3 and it worked OK.

In the BAT User template you first have to specify how many controlled devices there will be.
This will then insert the Controlled Device 1 column into the sheet, then you need to ensure that the device name specified within your phones template is exactly the same under the controlled device.
The user group simply specifies whether the user has CCMUser privilages, and does not necessarily have to be added in the template. It can be specified in the User file format when you actually make the import.
