CM6 and VMware limits

It seems CM6 includes a limit on how many DLUs can be added to the appliance when running under VMware. Does anyone know what this upper limit may be?

Re: CM6 and VMware limits

Hi Frederick,

My understanding of this is that due to the fact that the VMWare build of CCM 6.x is to be used for Lab/Demo use only, that the upper limit is 50 DLU's.

Hope this helps!

Re: CM6 and VMware limits

I am not aware of any limit, the CUCM 6.0 gives you 50 DLUs for free regardless of it being on VMWare or approved server. If you have a valid license you can "modify" the VMware MAC address and apply it without any issues. Keep in mind that running CUCM on VMWare in production is not supported.

HTH,

Chris
