CME 3.3 http issue

We are running CME 3.3 and have issues regarding setting up extensions and phones using the HTTP browser. If we try to assign a button to the phone then click ok and save we just get errors on page in the internet explorer.

is this a java issue, if so what java should we use?

The ip http server command must be enabled on Cisco CallManager Express. However, if only https (ip http secure-server) is enabled, this command does not work. Both commands must be enabled.
