Hi Guys,
I have just installed a cme 7.0.
Configured extention mobility
I have 2 problem:
1: When I log on to a phone, it will just sit there, it does not go back to the main screen, one has to press the service button again. The login works fine, Phone models are 7975 and 7911
2: When the phone boots up a error come up quickly and goes away. i think it says something like error Locale or something.
I read that one has to maybe update the Locale but Im not so sure how to do this.
Please can some one help me out here..
Thanks

Hi Marius,
I'm sorry that I don't have an answer for question number 1, but for number 2;
This was really covered nicely by Paul in this thread (last answer) :)
Hope this helps!

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the help,
I will try and load a UK locale and see if that sorts out the error on the phone, the customer notices this and think there is something wrong so they wont except the site as finish.
As to my first Q I'm downgrading the code now to 4.3 and see if that sorts out the issue. :)
Lets hope it does.
Thank you for the help
Regards,
Marius

Did you ever get an answer to problem 1, I have the same problem, did sorting out the locale resolve it.

Hi, if you didn't get an answer to question 1 then here it is:
telephony-service
url authentication http://
The parameters "secretname" and "password" will make the phone exit from the login / logout screen.
Without them, it will hang on the same screen even though the user has completed logging in or out successfully.
What "secretname" and "password" are doesn't matter, they can be any string.
From the system admin guide found here http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/guide/cmemobl.html#wp1148455
Hope this helps,
Glenn
