Hello all, we recently transitioned an avaya outfit into CME. As in most cases, a subscriber wanted to have the same features and functionality. He had both a conference phone and his assigned set configured to have the same DID, (phone number).
We were notified after the change, he would still like this arrangement.
I already had his new 7942 phone assigned to his extension. I then went in and assigned his 7937 also to that same extension. Both phones work. Except, the EU cannot dial out on the 7937. He gets no dialtone. He can however receive inbound calls.
We need both phones to be able to dial out and receive in on the same extension.
