CME/7941 Phone displaying wrong time

I have followed advice on previous posts by performing the following initial actions to fix the 7941 Phone displaying the wrong time.  Interesting thing is that other 7941 phones are displaying correct time.

  • Verified phone type is correct in CME router.

  ephone  12

device-security-mode none

mac-address XXXX.XXXX.XXXX

username "XXXXXXX" password XXXX

paging-dn XXX

type 7941

button  1:12

  • Upgraded the ip phone firmware to a more current version -

        SCCP41.8-5-4S

One peculiar thing I noticed is that while other phones have the time zone specified (PDT) this problem phone does not.

Any advice as to what else to try would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Adil,

    Can you please try;

    under the telephony-service -

    no create cnf-files

    create cnf-files

    Then reboot the individual phone
