Bala,

Following document has a commands/ procedure to block auto-reg, so negation of that command should help you achieve what you want. Also I believe auto-reg is enabled by default in CME.

Thanks for the reply, how to mention the DN ranges for auto registration?

After enabling auto-reg, the DN range can be specified by command " Auto ". Syntax could be "Auto 3000-3400 ".

Hi Bala,

Under telephony-service you can give the command "auto-assign to "  , here the range that you are giving should be already configured for ephone-dns.

If we have 350 end point and  the internal number start from 3000 to 3250, in this case we need to manualy confiure 350 ephone-dn and then use auto-asign 1 to 350.

Is there is any way to specifiy the dn range and allow CME to auto register ?

Enable auto-registration using the command auto-reg-ephone, you don't need to manually configure any DNs

Your question about how to specify a range has already been answered by Abdul, you can refer to the command reference guide if you need more help, but he's telling you exactly how to enter the command to specify the DN range to be used.
