CME 8.6 integration with Polycom IP 7000 Sound station

Hi Team,

I need to integrate an IP 7000 device with CME version 8.6. I understand that IP 7000 talks only SIP. So, first of all I would like to know if this integration is posible. If it is possible, I would like to know what the required IP 7000 firmware version is for integration with CME. Also, could you please point me to a document with the integration procedure?

You can search for "CME third-party SIP phone", a subject that has been discussed many many, times already.

Thanks for the reply, Paolo. More than the configuration, I want to know the SIP firmware image for IP 7000 on CME. Could you please let me know this information? I did not get this information from any previous discussion (I have checked most of these).

Hi,

Polycom IP 7000 is not Cisco product, so Cisco CME will not give any firmware for it.

If you are talking about 7937G phone which are Cisco Conference phones, these phones are SCCP phones.

Hi, I am trying to register a Polycom Ip 7000 with CME, but I am getting the following errors:

Also, "

sh voice register pool attempted-registrations" clearly tells that this is some authorization issue.

As you can see, I have not configured any "load" configuration. Please suggest here.
