I have a question about a dial plan, my customer did receive numbers for the PRI form 027000000 - 027000099 he did want that the user phones have the numbers 10 - 99 (so only two numbers), there are also 2 ATA's for fax, is it possible to assign the whole number 027000001 and 027000002 to the fax, what should i use as translation pattern, because i have 2 digits and 9 digits mixed, can someone help

Number expansion is probably what you're looking for:

Router(config)#num-exp .. 0270000..

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_3/vvf_r/vrg_n1_ps1839_TSD_Products_Command_Reference_Chapter.html#wp1009135

That's the only command you would need to do to expand your entire dial plan out with 9 digits from 2.

This of course, assumes you assign 2 digit extensions to phones and the FXS ports. You can receive the digits from the PRI in either 2 or 9 digit format with this command.
