CME-Can ephone do call-pickup on multiple lines from another #?
I have a customer with a receptionist phone configuring for classic hunt-on-busy on 4 ephone-dns which appear on the phone. They have other phones on desks around the receptionist where they may want to pickup calls coming into the receptionist's phone. Picking up the first call by selecting the line button with the overlays of the receptionist # is not a problem. However, if they have already picked up a call that came to the receptionist and place it on hold to pick up another call coming into the receptionist, they cannot. IE: They place the call on hold that was picked up on the overlay line, select an available line, hit the "pickup" softkey and dial "243" and they do not get anything and the receptionist's phone continues to ring.
My question: Is there a limit as to how many calls a phone can pickup from the same number? Customer is running 4.0.0(1)
Below is the config: Ephone 2 is the receptionist, ephone 3 is the phone attempting to pickup multiple calls from the receptionist.
