CME/CUE - sip trunk, no dtmf

Greetings,

When placing calls to a CUE AA over a SIP Trunk (from a Broadworks platform), dtmf doesn't make it through.

I've played around with the dial-peer settings, but have had no luck.

dtmf-relay sip-notify
dtmf-interworking rtp-nte

b2bua

Is there anything else I should be looking at?

Thanks,

David

Try

Gateway# voice service voip

Gateway# allow sip-to-sip

You may need to transcode the stream between sip trunk and CUE
Codece used by CUE is G.711.

sip to sip and all options are there.

I am using g711ulaw on the sip trunk.  Can you send information about the transcoding?

Re: CME/CUE - sip trunk, no dtmf

When I try to put this config under telephone-service (sdspfarm tag 1 XCODE123456), I get this error:

Can't change name for registered mtp

Silver

Re: CME/CUE - sip trunk, no dtmf

You need to use the name that you have given to your gateway. XCODE123456 is just an example.

Re: CME/CUE - sip trunk, no dtmf

"gateway" being my sip trunk provider in sip-ua?

Silver

Re: CME/CUE - sip trunk, no dtmf

You need to use the name of the router where the DSP's are located. In your case, it would be the name of the CME.

Thats what I originally thought, but was still giving me the same error.

What error message do you get?

Re: CME/CUE - sip trunk, no dtmf

"Can't change name for registered mtp"

Silver

Re: CME/CUE - sip trunk, no dtmf

Instead of " XCODE123456" in the above example, use the name that you have given to MTP and reset the SCCP by doing the following:

Gateway# no sccp

Gateway# sccp

Re: CME/CUE - sip trunk, no dtmf

I never gave it XCODE123456, but will definately try and removing sccp and re-adding it.

Thanks!
