Has anyone tried to use a translation-profile on an ephone-dn? I don't yet have a use for this, but wanted to see if anyone has ever used them successfully. In a lab I've been testing this feature and it doesn't seem like an inbound translation-profile on an ephone-dn has any effect on either the called or calling number as defined. The outbound direction seems to work fine on translating a calling number.
I'm using CME version is 3.3 and router version is 12.4.5 mainline.
from another conversation, here a possible use for ephone-dn translations, where they wanted to not show calling number, for some extensions only. Not much time to try it now, but possibly we will have to return on this.
