Hi,
I have a CallManager Express 4.0, I had opened in GUI but I am unable to add the phones. I had downloaded the lates basic files for GUI (cme-basic-4.0.0.1[1]) and GUI Files.
But when I added IP Phone in Router I am able to modify the same in GUI.
Is there any limitation in CME for adding IP Phones.
Please help.
Thanks/Regards

make sure you have "auto-reg-ephone" configured. This way the GUI will recognize new phones.

Also make sure the phone is connected.

Thanks in advance.

Karuna, you may be in confusion. CallManager Express don't use CSS and Partions, all the phones are treated equally, and if you want to special things with some of them, there are other means.

Karuna,
I think you can use the CORlist options for your Partition and CSS req.
Thanks,

Only the latest 12.4-11XJ1 / CME 4.1 has support for assigning COR to a DN using the GUI. However, you still have to configure the COR list in CLI. In general the GUI is so limited that most task are better executed from CLI.
