I have Call Manager Express 4.0(1). I was looking to upgrade to a newer CME version/CUE version to get some Meet Me conferencing capabilities without having to add a T1 card. First, I was wondering about DSP requirements and how to be sure I have enough DSPs for the Meet me conferencing. This is a small implementation with 2 4 port FXO cards in a 2811 and 16 DSPs. Next, can the meet me conferences be used with an outside resource if I setup an FXO to plar the specific port into whatever the meet me conference number I setup was?

I used the DSP calculator, and based on the model of router and the cards, it shows the number of conferences you can do...
http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/Support/DSP/cisco_prodsel.pl
This link shows how to configure Conferencing:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/guide/cmeconf.html
Do you want to have a DID for the meet me number?
To access from the outside, you are going to get only as many POTS lines you have.
