when I dial to 7941g IP phone, shows properly the caller information during ring but not shows the '1 missed call' on the target IP phone's LCD panel after hang up the originator. also not shows on the '1=Missed call' entry via the 'Directory' button.
Any idea?

Exactly match to mine. Any idea to be resolved(ex, next release) with keeping the overlay?

Since this is not considered as a bug, but an Enhancement Request, it might take time before this is fixed. If you want this feature to be added ASAP, you would contact your Cisco SE/AM and have them work with the BU to get this feature available ASAP

I have a workaround for you. You can use "overlay with call waiting" (c) instead of "overlay" (o).

The Bug Status Shows its "New" that means DE's are evaluating it ...they should come up with a fix sometime later.
Right now I am not aware of another woraround. :(
